WIRED was challenged to tell an evolution of television story through an immersive branded content web experience and place Netflix as the leader in television innovation.
Digital: WIRED developed and designed a first-ever interactive (HTML 5) sponsored content story on WIRED.com. Written by author and anthropologist, Grant McCracken, this story brought to light the massive paradigm shift around television and the circular affect it has on writers, actors, producers and content providers. This cross-platform piece gave users interactive moments that feature a sit down video with Arrested Development creator, Mitch Hurwitz, real-time info graphics, audio bits from the author and a timeline of key moments in television.
Social: Select WIRED Insiders promoted the activation via Twitter and Facebook including a teaser video with Mitch Hurwitz driving to the interactive website.
